One of the finest traditions at HHS is the pre-meet pasta party, which builds team spirit and comradery.

The night before a meet, a family hosts both the boys and girls teams either at their home or the high school from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. The host family cooks the pasta, but players bring the drinks, salad, bread, and dessert. (Please note: if you want to use the HS cafeteria, you need to reserve it way in advance through the school.)

Typically between 75 and 100 kids show up to the pasta parties, more earlier in the season.

Freshman bring Bread (no sesame please)
Sophomores bring Salads
Juniors bring Desserts (no nuts please)
Seniors bring Drinks (chocolate mike, water or sports drinks)

A gluten-free pasta and sauce will also be offered.
